A connected approach

From field equipment to operating decisions

Serious Controls combines devices, communications, software, and implementation services. The arrangement depends on whether your project covers distributed resources, building controls, IAQ monitoring, or several of these together.

1. Define the project

Identify the sites, assets, operating goals, and people involved. Program design and technology selection help establish what needs to connect and how it will be used.

2. Connect equipment

Review device communications, power, and network requirements. DERMS integrations use supported protocols and permissioned APIs; IAQ remote access uses the LTE Gateway.

3. Configure the deployment

Organize resources into VPP groups, establish building schedules, or place IAQ monitors on floorplans. The configuration follows the equipment and solution selected for the project.

4. Operate and review

Use the relevant monitoring, alerts, reports, and control tools to review operation. DERMS adds forecasting, scenario modeling, and schedule optimization for the resource portfolio.
